北京美卡宠物用品有限公司（MAKAR）成立于2002年,是国内外同行业中知名品牌。美卡以专业的原创设计产品为核心。通过精细化管理，建立了生产、销售为一体的销售渠道，美卡是一家拥有自主品牌的宠物用品公司。
美卡的创始源于2002年张国强先生为了解决自家爱犬在室内排便的问题，而苦于在宠物用品市场无法找到一款适合狗狗在室内使用的厕所，于是自己动手设计了一款平板式的犬厕，这就是一直流传至今的世界上第一款平板式犬厕。经过家庭体验式的实验证明使用效果很好,可以有效解决家庭饲养宠物在室内排便的难题。由此张国强先生开始关注国内的宠物用品市场,并发现当时国内宠物用品市场的用品品种十分匮乏,尤其是塑料类的宠物用品，大多外观粗糙，质量低略，于是决定利用自己在航天科研单位十多年的工作中所学到的知识投身到宠物用品开发这一领域，致力于设计、制造出让中国人骄傲让外国人喜爱的优秀宠物用品。
系列宠物用品品牌美卡（MAKAR）也就此应运而生了。
MAKAR Brand Story
BEIJING MAKAR PET PRODUCTS CO.,LTD was established in 2002 and is a well-known brand in the domestic and international pet products industry. MAKAR focuses on professional original design products. Through meticulous management, it has established an integrated sales channel covering production and sales. MAKAR is a pet products company with its own brand.
The origin of MAKAR dates back to 2002 when Mr. Zhang Guoqiang, in an effort to solve the problem of his dog defecating indoors, found no suitable indoor toilet for dogs in the pet products market. So, he designed a dog toilet by himself, which became the world's first dog tray lavatory that has been passed down to this day. After family trial use, it was proven to be highly effective in solving the problem of pets defecating indoors. This led Mr. Zhang Guoqiang to pay attention to the domestic pet products market and discover that the variety of products was extremely limited, especially plastic pet products, which were mostly rough in appearance and of poor quality. Therefore, he decided to apply the knowledge he had acquired during his over ten years of work in a space research institute to the field of pet products development, dedicated to designing and manufacturing outstanding pet products that would make Chinese people proud and foreigners fond.
The series of pet products brand MAKAR was thus born.
